The past week has been so so awesome in Australia I swear. Not only was it a damn good break from work but also a fun filled eye opener.
Gold coast.
Really awesome theme parks. Even though it rained the first two days we were there and the weather caused alot of trouble and made everything a little more gloomy, it was still really really good.
The rides at dream world were the best. Really really good, I don't know how people come up with the ideas. More photos to come when I get back to sg.
Sydney.
This is the city that makes me really want to stay in Australia the rest of my life. The first night in Sydney we had Soju. That night was so awesome. Met people from all walks of life, ESP people from korea and it was just a really really fun night. With lotsa gooooooddd food might I add.
The next few days were spent with Rachel, victor and Francesco. I only met them for the first time in Sydney. Through Liza. And I am so glad I met them. It's them who made the whole trip so awesome.
They really opened my eyes to the western culture, in a way that would not have been possible if I was just purely travelling. Mainly because we were staying in Rachel's dorm, so we interacted alot with the locals. And hanging out with them, aka locals, really helped me learn so much about Australia. My perceptions, my views, my thinkings about so many things changed. All in the few days spent with them.
But what I love most about Australia is the people. The fact that we can meet people of all nationalities all the time, that is so cool. And the people are just so polite and friendly. Something you don't get in sg at all. In just a short few days I realize I can actually socialize better already.
So far Australia has been nothing but good for me. Even though sometimes things don't really go well, it still made the trip good somehow :)
I love you Australia!!!!!
And things are just gonna get better in Melbourne. IM READY FOR YOU MELBOURNE!!
