If a genie could grant me three wishes now, I know what one of my wishes would be.

TO BE LESS BLUR.

Honestly this being blur thing has been bugging me since I was like in secondary school. I cant even finish listing the list of blur things I do in sequence of severity:
- booking a flight one day after I was supposed to arrive
- buying movie tickets for the wrong day
- turning up for a non existent event
- missing events because I didnt know they were on
- getting lost in singapore ( i mean like wth the country is so small)
- asking stupid questions on a daily basis
- etc etc that I cant rmb now.

There was even a joke that I would miss my own wedding.

I mean it really isnt like i wanna be blur and do stupid things but they jut happen to me and I mean I really do try to be alert and careful. But to no avail. Honestly?

Its really difficult to come to terms that I was made like that. In the image of God. It's really difficult to love this side of myself. Sure, there may be positive points where ignorance is bliss, but most of the time it just causes a helluva inconvenience, not only for myself but for the people around me as well.

But what else can I do? how does anyone become less blur?

Hi again. The cited examples have 1 commonality:
They are short term, ongoing or about to take place task/event/agenda items in your life.

It's definitely not due to being blur. My guess is that it's more habitual than actually forgetting or missing them that ends up being seen as "blur".
Hard as it may sound, the underlying reason is a conscious choice of not wanting to be otherwise.
For a start, try categorizing things meaningfully, if not in head then on paper. Visual association and representation helps too.

Just sharing, hope you don't mind.
