Went to KL over the weekend! :D

The trip started off really badly because apparently Qistina bus services overbooked their passengers due to a system glitch and we had no bus. Our bus that was supposed to leave at 11.55pm never arrived and we had to take their company van that arrived at 12.45pm. Thereafter we were shoved into another coach in JB

Most horrible service ever. And we also had no choice but to take their bus service back to sg due to the timings, and our bus that was supposed to leave at 2.30pm was delayed till 4pm.  NEVER EVER TAKING THEIR BUS SERVICE EVER.

But ah wells, food makes everything better! :D

Steak and a half lamb rack at Tony Ramas for just RM90 ( approx $40SGD). TOTALLY WORTH IT. The lamb is super tender and the steak is just the bombbbb. The juice bursts into your mouth and the sauce is so flavorful.

We also had a Teh Tarik ice cream at the inside scoop for a taste of home.

and brunch at Antipodean. The service at Antipodean is so much better as compared to the other services provided to us in KL. The food was really good too. The servings are really generous and it is really really yummy. It can be considered quite pricey for a meal in malaysia though. We paid about RM80(approx S$35) for two mains and two drinks. 

Theres also a really hipster store right beside Inside Scoop  - and they have a really mean looking cat that looks like it wants to dominate the world but is actually very friendly. 

Through this KL trip, the thing I am the most grateful about is that I was on the trip with Abbas. 

Through all the small quarrels we have, I've come to realize how 'big' a person Abbas is. ( I KNOW - it sounds so mushy rightttt - but its true *.*) 

And I wouldnt have had the same amount of fun and been so patient waiting for the buses and queuing for the rides as I was if I was with someone less patient and who doesnt look so much on the positive side. 

And a gopro is really really awesome. I was dubious at first, but its actually really good. the stability and the wide angle lenses makes people really fall in love with it. #iswear

Really good food at VCR - a cafe near our place.

This is some super good potato waffle. I repeat POTATO WAFFLE. SO SO GOOD. the waffle is made of potato, not just potato on the waffle. and it's blended so smoothly together that it seems impossible. and the coffee is gooooooddddd. and it comes in a really big cup too - 12oz cup, for the same price you would get in SG.

The decor is AMAZING. it has cement walls, glass panels, hipster tables and chairs, florescent light bulbs, and an outside area with fake grass. A really nice place to chill.
