Cell retreat 2014 was such a fruitful time. I learnt so so many things. and had such a great time with these babes. 

So one of the take home lessons that i really like was for me to love people for who they are and not what they say. And applying it at work has made it so much easier to love people. Even though I still have to constantly remind myself, practice makes permanent and one day, i wont have to remind myself anymore because it has become a way of life. 

Another point was to practice silence and solitude. For me to become less reactive towards people, but to become wiser, and to be able to refrain from gossiping and speaking carelessly. This time, I have really set my mind on following Jesus all out. Whether is it in terms of my decision making, or using my life to glorify God, I will do whatever he tells me to. Because I want to see him in heaven and hear him say that I have run the race well. 

Just as cell retreat was over, my faith was tested and honestly, I did waver a little, but then I thought that if Jesus came to earth now, and I did was I intended to do, he would spit me out of his mouth because I was lukewarm and I would burn in hell for eternity. And the thought scared me, so thank God for giving me the courage to do the right thing and I hope that in the future, I will not even waver anymore. 

Okay, back to retreat. We were all having lotsa fun trying to get our room key out from the hole it dropped in between the cracks. And we really did manage to get it out after like 15minutes, Amazing what perseverance and a little wisdom can accomplish.
